Follow the below instructions to register for a CPCU, AIDA, or ARM exam at the SJU Testing Center.
These steps refer to the process for scheduling for a CPCU/ARM/AIDA exam at SJU with the student discount:
1) To apply for this discount, email any of the following professors to obtain a letter displaying proof of current student status:
Dr. Hogan ([email protected]), Joe Liuzzi ([email protected]), or Deb Vesneski ([email protected])
2) Save this letter as you will need to submit it for every exam in order to get the student discount.
3) Upon receipt of the letter confirming current student status, complete the registration booklet (only pages 16 and17 titled “Computer Registration Form” need to be completed). You have the option to test at either a Prometric center or SJU as we are a certified testing center. To take it at SJU, check “Institute’s Approved Onsite testing center” in the registration booklet. Also make sure you list the correct testing window in which you which to test.You have the option to change testing windows after registration for a fee.
4) There are several different pricing options. Choosing SJU as a testing center allows you to get the exam fee at a discount. Page 11 of the booklet lists the breakdown of prices. Note the student discount is applied once theInstitutes receives the letter (which you will submit with registration) confirming current student status.
5) You will need to list your credit card information or include a check in order to complete the registration.
6) After pages 16 and 17 of the registration booklet are complete, email the booklet along with the letterhead indicating current student status to [email protected].
7) Once you have registered, the Institutes will send you a registration confirmation. If you are taking it at SJU, you will need to forward this confirmation to Walt Baker ([email protected]) and specify the day in which you wish to test –The SJU Testing Center in Mandeville Hall #294 will be open at specific times to be announced each month.
